These are all easily within walking distance from our small development on the outskirts of the village.

Holsworthy is  an  ancient market town set in the rolling green hills of North Devon. It boasts one of the largest livestock markets in the South West. The town square, surrounded by shops, is the hub of rural life in the town with a weekly pannier market where local growers sell their fresh produce.

In recent years the town has seen expansion and amenities now include Waitrose, Mole Valley Farmers, M&S BP,  leisure centre, golf course, schools, college and a hospital.

The old port village of Hartland lies on the tip of the Hartland Peninsula and is surrounded by the most beautiful, dramatic and rugged coastal scenery, truly deserving of its AONB status. Popular with walkers, artists and potters, it contains galleries and eateries as well as the historic Hartland Abbey which is well worth a visit.

The city of Exeter has excellent transport links, with its own international airport and a direct rail service straight to London Paddington, which takes a little over two hours.
