Flooring

Floors downstairs will be beautiful large 2ft x 3ft light grey slabs of slate, toasty warm with the underfloor heating that extends throughout the ground floor. These will be treated with a stain stop that leaves the slate looking as if nothing has been applied to them. They then build up a natural patina with regular washing.

Engineered oak flooring will be fitted in the sitting rooms, but for no additional cost we offer buyers who come in early the choice to continue the slate into this room as well.

 

Floors upstairs in hallways and bedrooms will be traditional solid oak planking nailed through to give a true barn-like rustic, warm and inviting quality.
